American musician
James Murphy is an American musician. He co-founded the DFA label with Tim Goldsworthy, established himself as a club DJ, and played in indie-rock bands Pony and Speedking. He released albums with LCD Soundsystem and has popular songs including Sleepy Baby, YYZ, and Please Don't Follow Me. Murphy has also produced, engineered, and mixed records for The Rapture.
