Stella Parton is an American country singer. She started her own record label, Country Soul, in 1975 and landed a major-label deal with Elektra the following year. She released the albums Appalachian Gospel, Hits Collection, and Resurrection. Her most popular songs include Wishing Well, I Want to Hold You In My Dreams Tonight, and Heart Don't Fail Me Now. Stella Parton has appeared in the films Color of Love: The Jacey Story and Merry & Gay, as well as the television series Dolly Parton's Christmas of Many Colors: Circle of Love.
