Lemmy Kilmister was a British musician. He formed Motörhead in 1975, serving as the singer and bassist, and the band became one of the world's best-known and influential metal bands. Kilmister is best known for the song Ace of Spades. Kilmister joined Hawkwind in 1971, playing bass and occasionally singing. He released albums Fool's Paradise with The Head Cat, Lemmy, Slim Jim, & Danny B with Slim Jim Phantom and Danny B. Harvey, and The Boys of Ladbroke Grove with Larry Wallis and Motörhead. Outside of Motörhead, Kilmister's popular songs include Hellraiser with Ozzy Osbourne and It's a Long Way to the Top with Jake E. Lee. He appeared in the documentary Motorhead: Ace of Spades.
