Trombone Shorty is an American trombone player. He released Swingin' Gate and then signed to Blue Note Records. In 2013, his album Say That to Say This topped the contemporary jazz album charts. He has also released the albums Backatown, Lifted, and Parking Lot Symphony. His most popular songs include Buckjump, Hurricane Season, and Backatown. Shorty created the Trombone Shorty Foundation.
