Della Reese was an American actress and singer. Her first charting single And That Reminds Me came out in 1957, while Don't You Know? reached No. 2 in 1959. She also released the albums Della, Della Della Cha Cha Cha, and Black Is Beautiful.She later appeared in the films Harlem Nights and Beauty Shop, as well as the television series Touched by an Angel. In the early '80s, Reese was ordained as a minister and wrote multiple books over her career. She died in 2017.
