Carl Reiner was an American actor, comedian, and film director (1922-2020). He received Primetime Emmy Awards for Outstanding Supporting Actor in a Comedy Series for Caesar's Hour and Outstanding Writing for a Comedy Series for The Dick Van Dyke Show, in which he also appeared. Reiner also won an Outstanding Guest Actor in a Comedy Series Emmy for Mad About You. His film credits include Gidget Goes Hawaiian, The Russians Are Coming, the Russians Are Coming, The Jerk, and Dead Men Don't Wear Plaid. Reiner directed films such as Oh, God! and All of Me.
