Chris Colfer is an American actor, singer, and author. He played Kurt Hummel in the TV show Glee from 2009 to 2015. For this role, he won the Golden Globe Award for Best Supporting Actor - Series, Miniseries or Television Film and appeared in the documentary Glee: The 3D Concert Movie. Colfer wrote and directed the musical spoof Shirley Todd at Clovis East High School. He has also appeared in the films Struck by Lightning alongside Sarah Hyland and Dermot Mulroney, and Absolutely Fabulous: The Movie. He is the author of The Land of Stories children's series.
