Albert Finney

British actor (1936–2019)

Albert Finney was a British actor. Finney appeared in the Jason Bourne franchise, as well as the films Annie and Scrooge, for which he received the Golden Globe Award for Best Actor - Motion Picture Musical or Comedy, and Before the Devil Knows You're Dead. He also received the Primetime Emmy Award for his performance in the television film The Gathering Storm.

Finney achieved particular success as a Shakespearean actor before switching to film and becoming a leading Free Cinema figure. He produced the films Loving Memory and O Lucky Man!. Finney passed away in 2019.
