Shane Dawson is an American YouTuber who became one of the first people to rise to fame on the platform. He launched his first YouTube channel, ShaneDawsonTV, in 2008 and later created a second channel, ShaneDawsonTV2. Dawson developed his technical skills in video production while in high school and directed the feature film Not Cool. Dawson has also appeared in the film Internet Famous with Missi Pyle and Jimmy Tatro and the series The Chair. He has released the singles Girlish Body, You Didn't Glow Up, and The Vacation Song and hosted the comedy interview podcast The Shane Dawson Podcast.
