Jack Palance was an American actor (1919-2006). He replaced Marlon Brando as Stanley Kowalski in the Broadway version of A Streetcar Named Desire. Palance appeared in films such as Batman, Young Guns, City Slickers, for which he received the Academy Award for Best Supporting Actor, and It Can Be Done Amigo. He also received the Primetime Emmy Award for Outstanding Lead Actor in a Miniseries or a Movie for Playhouse 90.
