Charlotte Rae was an American actress. She played Edna Garrett in Diff'rent Strokes across NBC and ABC from 1978 to 1986. Rae was also a series regular on Hot L Baltimore. She appeared in films such as Hair with Treat Williams, Another Woman's Husband, Thomas Kinkade's Christmas Cottage, and Ricki and the Flash with Meryl Streep. Rae collaborated with George Marcy and Tommy Morton on the song Spring Doth Let Her Colours Fly. She passed away in 2018.
