Julie Bowen

American actress

Julie Bowen is an American actress. She landed her first big break on the soap opera Loving and appeared in the Adam Sandler comedy Happy Gilmore in 1996.

Bowen appeared in the series Modern Family from 2009 to 2020, for which she received the Primetime Emmy Award for Outstanding Supporting Actress in a Comedy Series in 2011. She also appeared in the films Horrible Bosses, Jumping the Broom, and the series Hysteria!.

Beyond acting, Bowen produced the film Prom Pact and hosted the podcast Quitters Podcast.
