Alan Cumming is a Scottish actor. He has appeared in films including Eyes Wide Shut with Tom Cruise, GoldenEye, X2, and Genie. He teamed with co-writer and co-star Forbes Masson as a campy posh duo named Vic and Barry, performing on the cabaret stages of Glasgow and touring Australia. Cumming has directed films Butter and The Anniversary Party, produced the film Sweet Land and the series Instinct, and appeared in the Apple Original series Carpool Karaoke: The Series and Schmigadoon!, as well as the series The Good Wife. He has released the singles Caledonia with KT Tunstall, 2014 with Griogair, and Next to Me, and hosted two podcasts: Homo Sapiens for Homo Sapiens Podcast's Art category, and Alan Cumming's Shelves for the Society & Culture category.
