Ben Vereen is an American actor, dancer, and singer. He joined the cast of Hair in 1969 and played Judas in Jesus Christ Superstar. Vereen later appeared in the sitcom Webster as Webster's uncle, where he incorporated frequent dancing and singing performances into his role. He has also appeared in films such as The Jesse Owens Story, Accidental Friendship, Idlewild, and Soldiers of Change. Vereen has released singles including What a Wonderful World, Both Sides Now, and For Today.
