Karen Black was an American actress, screenwriter, singer, and songwriter. Her film credits include The Outfit, The Great Gatsby, Burnt Offerings, Children of the Corn IV: The Gathering, Men, and House of 1000 Corpses. She produced the film First Degree. Among her popular songs are Royal Jelly and I Wish I Knew The Man I Thought You Were both with Cass McCombs, as well as songs from Gypsy 83.
