Mel Tormé was an American musician, singer, actor, and composer. He released albums including Comin' Home Baby!, Mel Tormé Swings Shubert Alley with The Marty Paich Orchestra, and Mel Tormé and the Marty Paich Dek-Tette. Tormé also released Live At the Maisonette in 1975 and An Evening With George Shearing & Mel Tormé with George Shearing. Among his most popular songs are Isn't It A Pity?, That's All, and Blue Moon. He worked with Jerry Mulligan, George Shearing, Buddy Rich, and Artie Shaw. Tormé's films include Higher and Higher, Words and Music, and The Fearmakers.
