Eric Benét is an American singer and actor. He started in the late 1980s in a group called Gerard, later forming the band Benet with his family members and releasing an album in 1992. He soon went solo and released his debut album True to Myself in 1996, followed by a string of albums including A Day In the Life and Love & Life. A few of his most popular songs include Georgy Porgy with Faith Evans, Spend My Life with You featuring Tamia, You're the Only One, and Chocolate Legs.
