Grace Jones is a Jamaican singer, actress, and model. She released the albums Portfolio, Warm Leatherette, and Nightclubbing, transitioning from disco to a new wave direction. Jones is known for her popular songs Slave to the Rhythm, Pull Up to the Bumper, La Vie En Rose, and I Need a Man. She played May Day in the James Bond film A View to a Kill, and has also appeared in the films Boomerang, Pee-wee’s Playhouse: Christmas Special, and the documentary Grace Jones: Bloodlight and Bami.
