

Levon Helm
American musician
Levon Helm was an American musician. He was a member of the rock band The Band and released solo albums including Dirt Farmer and Electric Dirt, and live albums such as Ramble At the Ryman and Carry Me Home, the latter a collaboration with Mavis Staples. Some of his most popular songs include The Mountain, A Train Robbery, and Poor Old Dirt Farmer. Helm appeared in films such as The Last Waltz, Coal Miner’s Daughter, and The Three Burials of Melquiades Estrada. He passed away in 2012.
