Duane Eddy was an American guitarist. He released his debut album Have 'Twangy' Guitar, Will Travel in 1958, followed by The 'Twangs' the 'Thang', and Twangin' the Golden Hits. Eddy worked with Lee Hazlewood to refine his distinctive trademark twangy guitar sound, which helped define the sound of classic rock and roll. His most popular songs include Rebel-'Rouser, Because They're Young, and Peter Gunn, for which he received a Grammy Award for Best Rock Instrumental Performance in 1987.
