Monica is an American singer and rapper. She released the multi-platinum album The Boy Is Mine in 1998, featuring the R&B duet of the same name with Brandy for which she won a Grammy Award. Her other popular songs include Why I Love You So Much and So Gone. Monica released the albums Miss Thang, Still Standing, and The Makings of Me. She has appeared in the film Boys and Girls and the series T.I. & Tiny: Friends and Family Hustle.
