Ozzy Osbourne

English musician and TV personality

Ozzy Osbourne is an English vocalist and songwriter. After rising to fame with the seminal heavy metal band Black Sabbath, he released a series of solo albums including Blizzard of Ozz in 1980, Diary of a Madman in 1981, and No More Tears in 1991. His most popular songs as a solo artist include Crazy Train, Bark at the Moon, and No More Tears.

Osbourne was famously singled out during the 1985 U.S. Senate hearings that led to the adoption of "Parental Advisory" labels for explicit content on music releases. He later starred in the reality TV show The Osbournes, introducing him and his immediate family to a new generation of fans. He appeared in the documentary Sunset Strip and the film Little Nicky, the series Ozzy and Jack’s World Detour, and he co-hosted the comedy podcast The Osbournes Podcast.
