Rex Allen was an American actor, singer, and songwriter (1920-1999). He appeared in films such as Trail of Robin Hood, Colorado Sundown, and Swamp Country. Allen also appeared in the series Frontier Doctor. His songs include the singles Cowpoke, Don't Go Near the Indians, and Crying in the Chapel.
