George Clinton is an American singer, songwriter, bandleader, and music producer. He is the ringleader of Funkadelic and Parliament, often referred to together as the Parliament-Funkadelic collective, and has released the albums Computer Games, Dope Dogs, and T.A.P.O.A.F.O.M. (The Awesome Power of a Fully Operational Mothership). George Clinton has collaborated with various artists, including Kendrick Lamar on his album To Pimp A Butterfly, and Justin Timberlake and Mary J. Blige on the song It's All Love. He has also collaborated with several other artists, like Red Hot Chili Peppers, Tupac Shakur, Bootsy Collins, and OutKast. In 2019, Clinton and Parliament-Funkadelic received Grammy Lifetime Achievement Awards.
