Martika is an American singer, songwriter, and actress. She released her first single More Than You Know in 1988 and her self-titled album that same year. Her single Toy Soldiers peaked at number one in the U.S. for two weeks. Martika released her second album Martika's Kitchen in 1991. She appeared in the television series Wiseguy, the film version of Annie, and the TV series Kids Incorporated. She is also a part of the band Oppera.
