American country musician, singer, and songwriter
George Jones was an American country musician, singer, and songwriter. He released the albums I Get Lonely In A Hurry in 1964 and The Grand Tour in 1974. Jones also released the albums Alone Again, The Battle, and the song Golden Ring with Tammy Wynette in 1976. He married Wynette, leading to a decades-long collaborative relationship. He earned the nickname The Possum early in his career and is known for songs like He Stopped Loving Her Today, I Am What I Am, Choices, and Finally Friday. He passed away in 2013.
