Halle is an American singer and actress. She is best known for playing Ariel in Disney's 2023 live-action version of The Little Mermaid. She rose to popularity in the late 2010s as one half of the R&B duo Chloe x Halle with her sister. She released her first solo single Angel in 2023 and went on to gain recognition for her performances of Because I Love You and Part of Your World. Halle appears in the film The Color Purple and the TV series grown-ish.
