Doris Day was an American actress and singer (1922-2019). She was one of the most popular and acclaimed singers of the 20th century, recording numerous songs as a solo artist between 1947 and 1967. Day released many albums, including Tea for Two and I Have Dreamed. She appeared in films such as Calamity Jane, Pillow Talk, That Touch of Mink, and The Man Who Knew Too Much. Her song Secret Love for the Calamity Jane soundtrack won the Academy Award for Best Original Song. She also received a Grammy Lifetime Achievement Award. She starred in her own television series, The Doris Day Show.
