Akiva Schaffer is an American comedy writer, actor, and film director. Schaffer appeared in Michael Bolton's Big, Sexy Valentine's Day Special alongside Michael Sheen and Maya Rudolph, and in Popstar: Never Stop Never Stopping. He also appeared in The Lonely Island Presents: The Unauthorised Bash Brothers Experience with Maya Rudolph. Schaffer collaborated with Andy Samberg and Jorma Taccone on comedy shorts, music video parodies, and live comedy skits during adolescence. He directed Chip 'n Dale: Rescue Rangers, numerous episodes of Saturday Night Live, and produced Palm Springs and Pen15. Schaffer also hosted the comedy podcast The Lonely Island and Seth Meyers Podcast.
