Marian McPartland was a British pianist, composer, writer, and radio host (1918-2013). She released albums including Marian McPartland’s Piano Jazz and Twilight World. McPartland also released Marian McPartland’s Piano Jazz Radio Broadcast With Steely Dan featuring Steely Dan. Her most popular songs include Moonlight In Vermont, It Might As Well Be Spring, and Close Your Eyes. McPartland appeared in the documentary The Girls in the Band.
