Rowland S. Howard was an Australian musician and songwriter (1959-2009). He was a guitarist known for his blunt, reverb-drenched guitar sound and was a member of Australian punk and post-punk bands The Birthday Party and These Immortal Souls. Howard released solo albums including Pop Crimes and Teenage Snuff Film. His most popular songs include Shut Me Down, (I Know) A Girl Called Jonny and Dead Radio.
