Sophie Kauer is a British-German cellist and actress. She released the album TÁR (MUSIC FROM AND INSPIRED BY THE MOTION PICTURE) featuring Hildur Guðnadóttir and Cate Blanchett, and the extended play Unsung with Kunal Lahiry. Her most popular songs include In The Bleak Midwinter with Scoring Berlin, 3 Morceaux, Op. 11: No. 1, Prelude in B Minor (Transcr. for Cello and Piano) and 3 Romances, Op. 22: No. 1, Andante molto with Kunal Lahiry. She appeared in the film Tár alongside Cate Blanchett.
