Kuana Torres Kahele is an American musician. He co-founded the trad-pop Hawaiian music group Nā Palapalai in 1995 and released seven albums with the group, several of which charted in the Top Five on the World Albums chart. He also released the album Nanea with Na Palapalai. Kuana Torres Kahele left the group in 2012 and released his internationally recognised solo album Hilo for the Holidays. He has since released the albums Kahele and Music for the Hawaiian Islands, Vol. 3 (Pi'ilani, Maui). He has released the songs Lava from the Pixar short film Lava with James Ford Murphy and Napua Greig, and Kaʻohanakupaokamaka. Kuana Torres Kahele has also appeared in the film Pixar Short Films Collection: Volume 3.
