The Floacist is a British musician. She released the albums Floetic Soul, Rise of the Phoenix Mermaid, Floetry Re:Birth, and later The Floacist Presents Floetry Re:Birth. Her most popular songs include Forever, Let Me, and Breathe. She has collaborated with Musiq Soulchild, Raheem DeVaughn, and Lalah Hathaway, and made guest appearances on recordings by other musicians such as Brian Culbertson's XII. She signed as a solo artist to the Shanachie label and has appeared in the film Reasonable Excuse.
