

Bernie Worrell
American musician (1944–2016)
Bernie Worrell was an American musician (1944-2016). He performed with symphonies and orchestras during his childhood and composed his own concerto at the age of eight. Later, he joined Talking Heads as a session man, touring with them throughout the '80s. Worrell released the albums All the Woo in the World and The Other Side, as well as the extended play Funkcronomic with Bill Laswell and Karsh Kale. His most popular songs include Woo Together, I'll Be with You, and Bass On the Line. Worrell also appeared in the film Ricki and the Flash.
