Gail Ann Dorsey is an American singer and bassist. She performed as a member of David Bowie's band from 1995 to 2002. She worked with Bowie on several albums, such as Earthling, and performed a duet with him on the song Planet Of Dreams. She has released solo albums Rude Blue, I Used to Be…, and The Corporate World, and has collaborated with Indigo Girls, Dar Williams, and Jane Siberry. Dorsey has worked with several other bands, including Gang of Four, The The, Tears for Fears, and Mall. She appears in the documentary David Bowie: The Last Five Years.
