Residente is a Puerto Rican rapper and singer. He released the albums Residente and LAS LETRAS YA NO IMPORTAN. He released the songs La Cátedra, This is Not América, and René. René won him Song of the Year at the Latin Grammy Awards in 2020. He also won the Latin Grammys for Entren Los Que Quieran and Antes Que El Mundo Se Acabe. Residente directed his self-titled documentary film Residente and has appeared in the films Old Dogs and In the Summers.
