Justin Vernon is an American singer-songwriter. He was a member of the American indie folk band Bon Iver, with whom he released an eponymous album in 2011. He released the albums Hazeltons and A Decade With Duke with Eau Claire Memorial Jazz I. Vernon also issued an archival box set devoted to his pre-Bon Iver band DeYarmond Edison in 2023. He engaged with the mainstream by guesting with Taylor Swift in 2020. His most popular songs include Bruised Orange (Chain of Sorrow), hazelton, and Big Red Machine with Aaron Dessner. Vernon appears in the documentary I Am Heath Ledger.
