Benny Goodman was an American jazz clarinetist and bandleader (1909-1986). Benjamin Goodman was America's first "King of Swing." He led his big band to a significant Hollywood show in 1935, which helped to boost his career and performed at Carnegie Hall in 1938. Goodman released albums such as The Famous 1938 Carnegie Hall Jazz Concert and Together Again! He appeared in films like Hollywood Hotel, Syncopation, and A Song Is Born.
