Danny Elfman is an American composer and musician. He composed the scores for films including Batman, Beetlejuice, Pee-Wee's Big Adventure / Back to School (Soundtracks), Edward Scissorhands (Music From the Motion Picture), The Nightmare Before Christmas, and Good Will Hunting. He also wrote the theme music for The Simpsons. In 2021 he released Big Mess, his first solo rock album in nearly four decades. He has appeared in the documentary Score: A Film Music Documentary.
