Matt "Guitar" Murphy was an American blues guitarist (1929-2018). He appeared in the 1980 film The Blues Brothers, and performed with the band. He also played with Memphis Slim's House Rockers. Murphy released albums including Last Call and Way Down South. His most popular songs include Matt's Guitar Boogie, The Blues Don't Bother Me and Grooving On Bounce.
