Stiv Bators was an American punk-rock vocalist and guitarist (1949-1990). He formed the Dead Boys in New York City in 1976, and the band signed a record deal with Sire Records. Bators appeared on albums including Disconnected and Do You Believe In Magyk. Bators went on to form the Lords of the New Church and the Wanderers. His most popular songs include Evil Boy, Make Up Your Mind, and A Million Miles Away. Bators also appeared in the film Polyester.
