

Eddie Daniels
American musician
Eddie Daniels is an American musician. In 1957, as a teenager, he appeared at the Newport Jazz Festival in Marshall Brown's Youth Band. Touring and recording with a wide range of bands and orchestras, he played saxophone, clarinet, and flute, but started specializing on the clarinet in the 1980s. Daniels has released myriad albums, including 1973's Blue Bossa, 1992's Benny Rides Again, and 1994's Real Time. Over the years, he has collaborated with many artists, including Freddie Hubbard, Billy Joel, and George Benson.
