J Mascis is an American musician. He serves as the frontman of the influential indie trio Dinosaur Jr. and has pursued a solo career. Mascis released the albums Several Shades of Why, Tied to a Star, and What Do We Do Now. He has popular songs including Breathe, Fade Into You, and Can't Believe We're Here. Mascis has appeared in the documentaries Freakscene: The Story of Dinosaur Jr. and The Pedal Movie, as well as the film The Double.
