Martin Gore is an English musician. He is a founding member of Depeche Mode. He has released solo material including the extended play Counterfeit, the full-length albums Counterfeit 2 and MG, and popular songs such as Compulsion, In a Manner of Speaking, and Smile In the Crowd. Gore was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame as a member of Depeche Mode in 2020. He appears in the documentaries Depeche Mode: 101, released in 1989, and Depeche Mode: SPIRITS in the Forest, released in 2019. He has also released music as part of VCMG with Vince Clarke.
