Lena Horne was an American singer, actress, dancer, and activist. She sang with Noble Sissle's Orchestra and Charlie Barnet. Later, she released albums including Lena Horne Sings and Stormy Weather. Horne appeared in the iconic films Cabin in the Sky and Stormy Weather, and later in The Wiz and on the TV series Sesame Street. Her most popular songs include Stormy Weather and Believe In Yourself. Horne received a Grammy Award for Best Jazz Vocal Album for An Evening with Lena Horne.
