Chester Bennington was an American singer (1976-2017). He formed and led the post-grunge outfit Grey Daze, and joined Linkin Park in the late 1990s. He is best known as the lead singer of Linkin Park, known for their debut album Hybrid Theory. He released the album MALL (Music From the Motion Picture) with Mike Shinoda and Joe Hahn and appeared in the films Crank and Saw 3D.
