Grace Slick is an American singer, musician, and painter. She was the lead singer of The Great Society and Jefferson Airplane, whose most popular songs include White Rabbit and Somebody to Love. She released the albums Software and Sunfighter with Paul Kantner. She was a member of Jefferson Airplane, Jefferson Starship, and Starship. Slick appeared in the documentaries Gimme Shelter and Monterey Pop and the series San Francisco Sounds.
