

Junior Wells
American blues musician
Junior Wells was an American Chicago blues vocalist and harmonica player. He rose to prominence in the post-WWII blues scene, replacing Little Walter in Muddy Waters' band. Wells formed a fruitful partnership with Buddy Guy in the mid-1960s, together releasing the album Alone & Acoustic. They later released Buddy Guy & Junior Wells Play the Blues in 1972 and Live In Montreux. His most popular songs include Messin' With the Kid, Come On In the House, and Poor Man's Plea.
