Mike Watt is an American musician. He formed and played bass in the influential San Pedro punk band the Minutemen and the post-Minutemen project fIREHOSE. Watt has released solo albums including Ball-Hog or Tugboat?, Contemplating the Engine Room, and The King Is Dead with The Cutthroat Brothers. He has collaborated with various artists such as Kelly Clarkson, Sonic Youth, Eddie Vedder, and Evan Dando. Watt has popular songs such as Big Train, Against the 70's, and Piss-Bottle Man. He has also appeared in the documentary Cassette: A Documentary Mixtape.
